There’s something remarkable about being invited by the Lord to collaborate with him in accomplishing his work. While he could do it all alone, in his magnificent generosity and wisdom, God chooses to allow us to participate with him, and we strive to remember each day how much of a gift that is. That gratitude is a core part of our company culture.
Culture has always been a strength of our organization. That’s because our mission to promote a relationship with Jesus Christ begins with our own employees. We are very intentional in cultivating a workplace where our team can thrive.
The fruit of that is joy that spills over into client calls, freedom to follow the Holy Spirit’s creative lead, staying grounded in our call, and a shared faith that permeates everything we do.
Today we would love to share our “Ten Truths” that guide how we view our work, ourselves, and one another.
We simply wanted a shared language for the convictions that were guiding us already. And we knew that codifying these truths would help us protect the culture we had already built.
Writing them down helped us explain, share, and lean into what makes us unique more deliberately. Reading these truths will give you insight into what guides our organization and what it’s like to work with us.
Our Lord is the way we accomplish anything, our primary collaborator as we work together, and the reason we show up every day.
Jesus could accomplish these efforts without us. His invitation to share in this work is an act of love and an opportunity to respond in love.
Our God is the Creator who brought order to chaos out of love. We strive to reflect this love by passionately creating and problem-solving, pursuing excellence in all things.
We are going to use our gifts to do whatever Our Lord asks us to do in order to serve the needs of the Church and the world.
We’re not David… our clients are. We’re the stones in their hands. We’re content to serve in the background, even with little recognition.
When God calls leaders in the Church, we are here to help them answer that call. Hiring 5 Stones should always make a client feel like they are being good stewards of their God-given resources.
A truly great person is someone whose presence you leave thinking not about how great they are, but about how great you are.
We will not be remembered only for the work we do, but also for the way we do it.
We live our mission and values principally in how we treat each other. Our employees are not here only to do work. They are here to grow closer to Jesus Christ and become more of the person God created them to be.
Critical thinking and creative ideas are not reserved for certain job functions or titles. Everyone is called to bring their unique gifts and perspectives to the problems we solve.
Over and over again, we have seen Our Lord do amazing things. He raises up leaders in his church, and when they meet obstacles, the Lord always supplies exactly what they need to overcome those giants for his glory. And we're so grateful to be a part of that.
If your team could use help facing down whatever giants are standing in your way, we'd be honored to be the stone in your sling.
