5 Stones is a Catholic nonprofit that partners with mission-driven organizations to magnify their messages of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.
Having encountered the Lord in our own lives, we aspire to facilitate real and life-changing encounters with Jesus Christ for the people that our clients serve.
Many of our employees made up the creative, distribution, and support teams that powered Lighthouse—the world’s largest distributor of Catholic audio presentations. We’ve proudly harnessed 10 years of passion, expertise, and infrastructure from our industry roots to serve our clients.
Our name “5 Stones” comes from the biblical narrative of David defeating the seemingly unassailable Goliath. Humbly we seek to be a tool in the hands of the many “Davids” that put their vision and talents at the service of the Church today.
We believe that all of our clients are engaged in their unique call to serve the Church and the world. Our brand is a constant reminder that nothing is possible without Jesus Christ and that those who serve him faithfully and fearlessly can do remarkable things.
We’re pleased to serve our clients from a beautiful, 90,000 square foot facility in Sycamore, Illinois. Originally offering over 1 million cubic feet of climate-controlled warehouse space, we've since expanded to now feature almost 3 million cubic feet in the distribution center. Our Midwest location is ideal for shipping coast-to-coast for our growing list of fulfillment clients. Stop by for a visit and see it for yourself!
Shortly after moving into our beautiful Sycamore office space, Bishop Malloy of the Rockford Diocese celebrated the first Mass in our chapel, where the Blessed Sacrament is present 24/7. We’re blessed to have Mass, Rosary, Adoration, and Divine Mercy Chaplet regularly available to all employees on-site. If you’re in the area, please join us in worshiping Our Lord!
In the summer of 2020, we discerned a new expression of our mission to support Catholic apostolates and facilitate encounters with Jesus Christ. While most of our time is spent serving our clients through our five core services, we also wanted a way to promote smaller content creators and makers directly to a Catholic audience.
So we built Cedar House—a Catholic online store where shoppers can find unique, faithful products from amazing Catholic people. And we’re proud to directly connect our audience with our sellers' websites and social media accounts so that we can support them by selling their products and driving traffic to their brand.
And, yes, it's another reference to David—drawing inspiration from his desire to build a house of worship that is worthy of the glory of God.
