Houston Vocations believes that God has called every person to some definite purpose. Their passionate team helps young people in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston discover that purpose and follow God’s lead. They needed a heightened level of design and marketing strategy in their communication efforts to better connect with the people they exist to serve.
5 Stones worked with their team to define their messaging and refresh their visual brand. This foundational piece of strategy helped to clarify the Houston Vocations message and approach. Next, we collaborated with the archdiocese to construct a 12-month strategic marketing plan. We created the first multifaceted marketing campaign in Houston Vocations history alongside a custom-built retreat program to help nurture the young people brought in by the campaign.
Our collaborative efforts increased awareness among young adults in the archdiocese of all the support and resources the Houston Vocations Office offers as they discern and pursue God’s will for their lives. Now, empowered with a more robust communications toolkit, the Vocations Office is ready to reach and accompany more young people than ever before, inviting each one to discover the exciting, purpose-filled life Jesus has in store for them.
Through a series of productive meetings, we helped Houston Vocations clarify their identity and core message. Then, we explored the desires and fears of their ideal audience and strategized the best way for the Houston Vocations Office to connect with them as a brand. The result of this process was a new brand book that married this newly created brand messaging with updated visuals.
We developed and executed a 12-month strategic marketing plan, complete with digital advertising, enhanced event graphics, a website audit to deploy the new brand messaging guidelines, an enhanced media kit for parishes, and a new retreat resource for seminary candidates.
With a new retreat offering, Houston Vocations needed a new look and feel to go along with it. Our team developed the logo for their Capture My Heart Girls Retreat—a mark that encapsulates the energy and target audience of the event.
