With the upcoming canonization of the first millennial saint, Carlo Acutis, the Rapid City Newman Center wanted to be the first Catholic student center to officially adopt his patronage. They also needed a rebrand that would capture the joyful spirit of their student community and reflect the character of their new patron.
We worked with the Rapid City Newman Center’s team to develop an updated logo and visual brand, creating a new style guide and a second logo for their giving society. When their team needed help implementing this brand on their new website, we developed the site’s first three pages and a module library for their team to utilize.
The new St. Carlo Acutis Catholic Student Center team was thrilled with their updated brand and logo. Their beautiful, rebranded website extends a compelling invitation to Catholic students at nearby colleges to come and find an authentic, joyful, welcoming community—positioning the student center for many more years of fruitful ministry. They led us through a plan to create a new logo and website as we renamed our Newman Center on the campus of South Dakota Mines from the Rapid City Catholic Newman Center to the St. Carlo Acutis Catholic Student Center.
