Their Mission

The U.S. bishops faced a problem of national proportions: a 2019 Pew Research Center Survey showed that fewer than one-third of Catholics actually believed in Jesus’ Real Presence in the Eucharist. The bishops prayerfully discerned a call from the Holy Spirit to revive Eucharistic belief through a three-year National Eucharistic Revival. Every Catholic in America needed to hear about this and be invited to participate. But the bishops needed help spreading the word, so they reached out to 5 Stones. Our hearts leapt at the opportunity to be part of this beautiful movement!

Our Role

5 Stones was the perfect agency partner for this initiative, because everything we do flows from the Eucharist. We put our hearts, souls, and marketing skills into ensuring the Revival bore tremendous fruit. Beginning with initial strategy meetings, we led efforts in brand development, messaging, and digital strategy, creating the visual identity for the movement and building the primary Revival website. We later built interconnected websites for the National Eucharistic Congress and Pilgrimage. Our marketing efforts included robust email and ad campaigns as well as organic social media and print collateral that brought the Revival into parishes, homes, and hearts across the country. The more the Revival grew, the more roles 5 Stones filled—eventually including our Customer Service and Fulfillment teams as well.

The Results

The main KPIs—hearts touched and lives changed—couldn’t be measured, but the impact of the Revival was obvious: Thousands of parishes hosted Revival events and small groups. Tens of thousands of Catholics attended the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis in July 2024. And hundreds of thousands participated in National Eucharistic Pilgrimage events in dioceses across the country. Our partnership with the Revival was truly a high point for our agency; we were honored to serve Jesus in this way and humbled to see the fruits of our heartfelt efforts and prayers.

strategy meetings

In March of 2022, our team met with members of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and the National Eucharistic Revival Executive Committee. From there, we began a process of strategic planning, brand messaging, and visual branding to prepare for the launch of the Revival in a mere three months!

A symbolic identity

Our branding vision was to integrate both Catholic tradition and modern design. We developed a logo centered on the Eucharist and expanded it into a visually unified family of brands for the Revival, Congress, and Pilgrimage.

Print, Email, and Social Media Marketing

To amplify the Revival’s reach, we supported a full suite of marketing efforts, from print collateral and email automation to organic social and paid ad campaigns. We helped grow an audience of over 100,000 on both social media and email—including sending a weekly Heart of the Revival newsletter—guiding them through each phase of the Revival, Congress, and Pilgrimage.

Three Websites in one

We built two additional websites for the National Eucharistic Congress and Pilgrimage, tailoring each to the needs of these unique moments within the Revival movement. To tie them all together, we created a shared “super nav” that allowed users to easily navigate across all three websites.

DIGITAL CONTENT DISTRIBUTION

The Congress was fast approaching, and the Revival team needed a place to house the recordings of the talks and other powerful moments from the event. Using our Annunciate platform, we worked with them to launch the Manna app—making the content available to Congress attendees and the general public. In 2025, the app expanded to offer ongoing Eucharistic content and resources for prayer, formation, and evangelization.
